By creating an account, requesting a ride, registering as a driver, or using RideSwift services, you agree to follow this User Agreement and the applicable policies published by RideSwift. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
RideSwift provides a technology platform that facilitates communication and coordination between passengers and drivers. Availability of rides, drivers, payment methods and other features may vary by location, account status and operating conditions.
Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and for activity carried out through their account. RideSwift may suspend or restrict an account where there is evidence of fraud, misuse, unsafe conduct, unauthorised access or violation of this agreement.
Applicable fares and payment methods are displayed or communicated through the service. Supported payment options may include cash and mobile-money services. A user remains responsible for charges properly incurred through their account. Payment-provider terms may also apply.
Driver registration does not by itself guarantee approval or access to ride requests. Where RideSwift requires a subscription or approval process, the driver must satisfy the applicable requirements before using restricted driver features.
Rides may be cancelled or interrupted because of passenger or driver actions, network availability, safety concerns, vehicle problems, weather, traffic, maintenance or other circumstances. RideSwift may limit features temporarily to protect users or maintain the platform.
Passengers should report missing property as soon as possible using the available report feature. RideSwift may share relevant trip information with the driver and may investigate, record notes and update the report status. Reporting an item does not guarantee recovery.
Users must not use RideSwift for unlawful activity, harassment, threats, fraud, impersonation, unauthorised access, interference with the platform, or any conduct that puts passengers, drivers, staff or the public at unreasonable risk.
RideSwift provides the platform and related coordination tools. Actual transportation is performed by drivers. To the extent permitted by applicable law, RideSwift does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, exact arrival times, recovery of lost property, or that every ride request will be accepted.
RideSwift may update this agreement, change features, suspend services or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary. Continued use after an updated agreement is published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.
Users should first contact RideSwift through the support channels provided on the platform. Applicable consumer, transportation, privacy and other laws remain relevant to the relationship between RideSwift and its users.
This document is a platform agreement draft and should be reviewed by RideSwift's legal adviser before being treated as the final legally binding terms.
